Who is responsible for your data

LLS ESTUDIO CREATIVO, S.A.S. de C.V., trading as Love Light Studio, with address at Av. Paseo Vallarta Sur 137, interior 37, Flamingos, Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, Mexico, C.P. 63732, RFC LEC231009BT3, is responsible for the personal data you share with us.

Questions or requests: info@lovelightstudio.com.mx, phone +52 322 245 4570 or WhatsApp +52 322 139 9537.

What we collect

Sensitive data

Some photographs and video of your event may reveal your religious beliefs — a religious ceremony — or your sexual orientation. And in the notes about your event we may write down health information you give us (allergies, diet, pregnancy, mobility) only so we can take care of you properly on the day.

Mexican law calls this sensitive personal data. We use it only to provide the service you hired us for, and your electronic signature on the contract is your express, written consent for that. If you would rather we did not write down health information, tell us and we will not record it.

What we use it for

To do the work you hired us for: prepare and cover your event, coordinate with the hotel, deliver your photos and video, charge and invoice, offer you additional photographs from your own gallery after delivery, answer you, and comply with our tax and legal obligations. These uses are necessary — without them we cannot provide the service.

One use is optional and only happens if you say yes: showing your photographs and video to promote our work and the hotel's. If you authorize it, your images may appear in our portfolio, website, social media, wedding directories, exhibitions, contests, editorial pieces, printed materials and advertising, in Mexico and abroad, and the hotel where your event took place may use them for the same purpose, for as long as needed. That authorization lives in its own checkbox in the contract, it is never pre-ticked, you can sign without it, and it does not change your price or your service. If you do not tick it, your images are not published.

What we will never do

We will never sell your images as standalone files, add them to stock libraries, databases or artificial-intelligence systems, or use them to profit from your likeness. We do not use facial recognition or biometric processing.

The one exception, and only if you ticked the box: the limited licence we grant the hotel where your event took place, so it can show its own work. Nothing beyond that leaves Love Light Studio.

Who else sees your data

Transfers that do not need your permission, because without them there is no service:

The transfer that does need your permission: handing your photographs and video to the hotel or resort for the hotel's own advertising. If you do not tick the promotional-use box in the contract, this transfer does not happen. By ticking it, you expressly accept this transfer; the hotel must treat your images under this same notice.

We do not sell or share your data for third-party advertising.

Guests and children

Your guests appear in the photographs. Your authorization covers you, not them: for close-ups or featured promotional use of another person, we need that person's own authorization. You agree to let your guests know the event will be photographed and recorded.

When children appear, the authorization must be given by whoever holds parental authority or guardianship, and it must be given to us in writing. If we do not have it, we do not publish images where a child is identifiable.

How long we keep it

Raw files (RAW), projects and outtakes are deleted once editing is finished. Final files — high-resolution JPEG photographs and the finished video — are kept for at least six months from delivery and normally no more than two years, unless you authorized promotional use, in which case we keep the images we publish for as long as they stay published.

Your contact details and event notes are kept for up to five years after your event, so we can answer questions about it. Contracts, receipts and invoices are kept for as long as tax and commercial law requires.

Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to your data, to correct it, to cancel it, or to object to a particular use. You may also ask us to limit a specific use without cancelling everything — for example, to stop publishing your images while keeping your gallery.

Write to info@lovelightstudio.com.mx, telling us your name, what you want and about which data, and attaching a photograph of your official ID so we can confirm it is you. We ask for ID on purpose: without it, anyone who knows your email could ask us to hand over — or delete — your wedding. If you no longer have access to the email you gave us, write from any address and we will find another way to confirm your identity.

We reply within 20 business days and, where it applies, make it effective within the following 15.

You may withdraw your consent at any time — for the promotional use or for any other treatment that is not required to fulfil the contract — and we will take the images down from the channels we control. Withdrawal is not retroactive: it does not undo printed material already distributed or posts by third parties outside our control.

Your gallery and your WhatsApp

Your gallery opens with a link. Anyone who has that link can see it, so share it only with people you want to see your photographs.

When you write to our WhatsApp, an automated assistant may answer you first to point you in the right direction; a person from the office reads and answers the conversation.

Any change is published on this page with its date, and we will tell you by email if the change affects how we use your images. Last updated: August 25, 2026.

If anything here is unclear, write to us. We would rather explain it than have you sign something you did not understand.
